the submission:

Improvements in this field are too slow and too much inequality is still happening.

j, 14.10.19.

the thinking:

what is the idea we are moving forward with?

we must address the growing concentration of wealth that is happening globally.
the people who are deciding our futures are the people with wealth and power – these are predominantly men. only 10 women serve as heads of state globally. 38 states have parliaments with less than 10% women. the decision making is male dominated.
70% of people living in poverty are women.
modern day slavery affects 12-30million people.
“being opporessed means the absence of voices” bell hooks.
can we make this statistic visible / audible somehow?

how can we do it?

discussion audio needs to be transcribed here, to ascertain which idea we went forward with.

where does it need to take place?

a suburb with the highest concentration of wealth.
the cbd in perth.
parliament house

are there any legal implications to the activity?
